Why did the UK vote to leave the European Union?

  Economy  People that believed that BREXIT was a good thing saw it as an economic opportunity for Britain. this was the opposite to the Remain Campaigns who saw BREXIT as a warning for economic decline. this differed slightly because of voters feeling economically behind as a result of membership of the EU. people who wanted leave the EU liked the idea of free trade and a free market, they may have seen the EU as a threat to their freedom in the market. they see potential for trade with countries outside of the EU which they see as more valuable than the trade deals already established within the EU. they believe that due to the EU regulations for trade no longer being a problem for Britain they see it as a way to boost Britain in the market. The Advantages and Disadvantages of the voting expansion

  Advantages of the Voting Expansion  An advantage of the voting expansion is that you can register to vote at 16. this is positive because the youth of the time are able to make a difference by registering to vote. This is positive because although these people are not yet adults, they are treated like one as they can not yet fully vote for thier political views but they can put forward that they would like to vote. They are given a political voice from a young age which makes them feel involved and potentially make them care about Politics and make it matter to them. So I think that being able to vote at 16 is a massive positive because of the reasons stated. Another positive of the voting expansion is the involvement of women in politics with the Suffragette movement in the Early 20th century. US Constitution History

  History  The US Constitution is over 200 years old and it all starts in 1775 when the 'Revolutionary War' between the colonies and Britain begins (one of the colonized countries being America) which means that America at this time was being controlled by Britain. The next year, in 1776, the Declaration of American Independence was written and the 13 colonies become 13 states; however they are not yet united under one single government. The declaration was written by Thomas Jefferson.   A general summary of the US Constitution is that it established America's national government and their fundamental laws. It also guarantees American citizens basic human rights. It was signed on September 17th 1787 and was taken to the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia to be ratified.
